Waverly Street Gallery is one of the oldest fine art Galleries in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Opening as “Creative Partners in 1993 the name was changed to Waverly Street Gallery in 2007. The Gallery features contemporary visual artists working in a wide range of media. Gallery artists include painters, printmakers, sculptors, ceramic artists, glass artists, photographers, fiber artists and jewelers. Monthly exhibitions showcase original artwork in many genres including representational, impressionistic and abstract art. The gallery offers workshops and artist talks. The gallery is also available on a rental basis for meetings and other special events. Opening receptions are held on the second Friday of the month. With a dynamic calendar of events, demonstrations, and artist opportunities, Waverly Street Gallery is an active member of the Bethesda Arts and Entertainment district and the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce.
